1.Principal Investigator for POISE 2 clinical study to study benefit of aspirin and clonidine in peri-op period – sponsored by McMaster University, Canada.
2. Principal Investigator – for the ASPIRE study – to study prevention of recurrent DVT with Aspirin – sponsored by the University of Adelaide.
3. Principal Investigator – for the Heal Or study – efficacy of a new local application in healing of diabetic Neuropathic Foot ulcers.
4. Principal Investigator – for a clinical trial on the role of Edoxoban (by Dai’ichi Sankyo Ltd) in the treatment of Acute DVT and prevention of recurrent DVT.
5. Co-Investigator – ‘Recover – 2’ study – efficacy of dabigatran in treatment of established DVT.
6. Member of the Data and safety monitoring board for the clinical trials regarding the use of stem cells for various indications like critical limb ischemia, osteoarthritis, etc conducted by ‘STEMPEUTICS RESEARCH PVT. LTD’ – SRPL, Bangalore.

Was involved in clinical research activities at the Diabetes Centre at the Tameside General Hospital, with Dr. Edward Jude, Consultant Diabetologist Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, U.K., between Dec. 2002 and Mar. 2003 and worked on –
1. “Evaluation of the ‘Accutorr’ non-invasive BP apparatus versus Peripheral Doppler for measurement of ABPI in Diabetic patients”
2. “Efficacy of Promogran dressings in aiding healing of chronic diabetic foot ulcers” – this paper was presented at the European Diabetic Foot Conference held at Netherlands in May, 2003.
